The LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) results arrived just as the school broke up for the summer holidays and we are hugely proud of the results, which reflect the hard work of all our pupils and our dedicated Speech and Drama teacher, Ms Lyon.
LAMDA is one of the oldest awarding bodies in England and they offer practical Examinations is all aspects of performance. The intention of these Examinations is to test the practical skills of communication and performance, building confidence as a result.
66 children entered either Acting or Spoken Verse and Prose. All the children worked incredibly hard and reached an amazing standard. This was reflected in the outstanding results with 56 children receiving a Distinction (80% -100%) and 10 a Merit (65% -80%).
