Named after birds of prey, all our minibuses are driven by a team of friendly, responsible, MiDAS-accredited employees of the school who know every child on their regular routes, and are key members of the Prince’s Mead community.
Our full-time Transport and After School Clubs Manager, Mrs Julie Roscoe, organises the minibuses on each of their three daily runs: morning, after school (4.10pm) and after clubs (5.10pm), linking into sports matches to ensure a seamless service. - Club and bus registers are produced daily to ensure children are accounted for at the beginning and end of the school day.
- Our minibus service is an environmentally friendly option which allows parents to avoid peak traffic times at the school gates and extend their working day.
- Children’s safety is of paramount importance, with safety checks undertaken each day and formal testing carried out at least once each term. Buses are fitted with height-adjustable seat belts that make booster seats redundant.
